My Soccer Number

Well it is Sunday again and I hope that you will all hear a great message from Christ wherever you attend church. The next addition to our list of When Non-Christian Musicians Untintentionally Reference Christ, hits close to home here in Tampa. Our pastor at Church at the Bay always pumps us up to go out in our great Florida town and kick a dent in Hell. There is also a song that our worship leader Blaine likes to play called God of this City (great tune). It alks about how much there really is to do in this town to make a difference for Christ. This addition to the list follows along those lines, but was composed by a well known group. So here it is, at #8:

Band: Rush
Album: Counterparts
Song: Everyday Glory
Lyric: In the city where nobody sleeps
And nobody dreams
In the city where desperation
Drives the bored to extremes

Just one spark of decency
Against the starless night
One glow of hope and dignity
A child can follow the light

Christ, through CATB, is that hope here in Tampa. Christ, through you and your church, are that hope in your town. Don't forget that whatever you do, you can make a difference in someone's life just by taking time for them. Meet Him there and He will lead you.

I also ask one quick prayer for my father and his church. They are trying to make a difference in Chattanooga TN for those who do not have a voice: unborn children (follow this hyperlink). Please pray for them and this campaign in their city.

Trying to make it on time for the meeting,
Jesus Freak Out!
